Michael Chandler had opened up about his upcoming fight against Conor McGregor. On June 29th, Chandler and McGregor will lock horns at UFC 303 in one of the most anticipated fights of the year.
This would be McGregor’s first fight inside the octagon since 2021. Going into the fight, the Irishman has been quite vocal about how this would be the greatest comeback in sports history.
Speaking about the same, Michael Chandler has opened up on his thoughts. Chandler suggested that this would either be the greatest comeback or the last time McGregor is seen inside the octagon. He said:
“You have to buy this Pay-Per-View because this could be the last time you see Conor McGregor fight. I truly believe what I will do to him on June 29th will warrant and merit him ever stepping back in the octagon.”
He added:
“That being said, Conor might be able to pull off the greatest comeback in combat sports history. The guy did snap his leg, it was a very gruesome injury and many many people wrote him off.”
