In the past few years, the UFC decided to go global to increase its fanbase. It is all set to enter the land of Sheikhs, Saudi Arabia, and conduct its first-ever UFC event in Kingdom Arena, Riyadh. But as it turns out, one of the main attractions of the main card, Khamzat Chimaev, is outside of his scheduled main event in the main card of UFC Saudi Arabia.
Dana White announced earlier today that The Wolf Khamzat Chimaev has been out as he suffered a grave injury and is currently unwell. A certain UFC legend gave his take on the matter.
Is Khamzat Chimaev’s MMA career in doubt?
Khamzat Chimaev was all set to take on the biggest challenge of his career as he prepared to take on Robert Whittaker in the Octagon. The duo were all set to clash in the middle of the cage in the main event of UFC 303. The MMA gods had other plans as Chimaev bowed out of the fight, what many describe as a serious illness. Michael Bisping gave his take on the matter and said this on his YouTube channel,

Bisping clarified that Chimaev’s condition was serious and wished the man well. Dana uploaded a video describing Khamzat as gravely unwell as the situation remains unclear regarding what went wrong with the middleweight. Whittaker will fight Ikram Aliskerov in the Octagon instead of Chimaev. Khamzat’s injury has sent the MMA world into a frenzy as things seem serious, and many speculate about whether he can return to MMA.
Khamzat Chimaev is one of the brightest prospects in all combat sports, and if he cannot continue in MMA, it will be a major loss to the MMA world. The MMA fans will be hopeful of his return to the octagon as Chimaev is a fan favorite.
