The former welterweight champ, Kamaru Usman, has thrown his hat into the prediction ring. He’s backing Rountree to shock the world and snatch that light heavyweight title from the powerhouse that is Pereira.

Usman is not just blowing smoke, either, as he has some solid reasons for his bold prediction. He is impressed by Khalil Rountree’s explosiveness and power. He believed that Alex Pereira has not met a harder-hitting striker than ‘The War Horse.’
“I think Khalil Rountree shocks the world…Crazy things happen in Utah and look at our champions right now. I think Khalil Rountree is extremely explosive, extremely powerful, his Muay Thai is incredible, and when he’s launching them (shots), he’s going to find your face,” said Usman via Pound 4 Pound podcast.
