Dana White gets warned by Khabib Nurmagomedov’s coach on how UFC and Bellator’s crossover might lead to a bad fate for the UFC Fighters. The two largest mixed martial arts (MMA) promotions globally are Bellator and UFC.
The biggest distinction between Bellator and Dana White’s UFC, two mixed martial arts promotions, is the scale of each promotion, the divisions they offer, and the competitors on each roster. Bellator features nine divisions, whereas the UFC has twelve. While Bellator uses regular matchmaking in addition to “Grand Prix” tournaments, the UFC solely uses regular matchmaking. Bellator only ranks the top 10, whereas the UFC lists the top 15 competitors in each weight class division.
Bellator is not the finest mixed martial arts promotion, but Dana White’s UFC is more well-known and larger. In addition, it is a stronger brand, has a roster of fighters with greater experience, and is considerably older. Since being crowned the greatest in the world results from winning a title, most exceptional fighters eventually sign with the UFC. The majority of fans frequently view Bellator as the UFC’s secondary league.
But some excellent competitors, including Yoel Romero, Cris Cyborg, and Phil Davis, have left the UFC owned by Dana White to join Bellator. While there are reciprocal benefits, switching from the UFC to Bellator is generally regarded as a step-down and occurs when a fighter has a contract disagreement with Dana White and the UFC.
When it came to attracting the finest fighters, the UFC had no competition and could pay less than a fighter was worth. However, with the legitimate growth of rival companies like Bellator, the UFC is now forced to pay competitive rates because Bellator can now offer good contracts for fighters.

How Is Dana White’s UFC Different From Bellator?
Regular matchmaking is used by both promotions, matching together two fighters with comparable rankings and weight classes. A UFC event consists of three main card fights, three early preliminary fights, and three fights on each card. While Bellator events often feature fewer fights, they follow the same concept but do not use early preliminary bouts.
Bellator also hosts “Grand Prix” tournaments that are single-elimination and like the ones the UFC first employed in the 1990s. Bellator Grand Prix bouts typically feature eight to sixteen competitors and typically take place on the same nights as other main events.
Khabib’s coach also stated to Dana White, that it wouldn’t be ideal for the Bellator fighters and UFC to have a cross-over fight. The Bellator fighters have become stronger with proper training in their respective weight category. Also, Islam Makhachev will not be fighting Usman Narmagomedov.
