Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov’s rivalry has been etched in the UFC history books. But now that they are way past their primes, it is expected that the heat will subside. Unfortunately, there are not the slightest hints about the two camps refraining from taking shots at each other. Recently, Nurmagomedov had some tough words for Irish MMA, as he found it inferior to Dagestan.
In response, ‘The Notorious’ uploaded the moment when he became the double champion. For the uninitiated, McGregor was the first UFC fighter to win both the belts simultaneously in two different weight classes.
Captioning the post, ‘Mystic Mac’ wrote, “The One, The Only! #AnyWeight #Anywhere #Anytime #DoubleChamp.” However, this was not well received by Khabib’s manager, Ali Abdelaziz. Commenting on his post, Abdelaziz wrote, “You zero now @TeamKhabib it’s always KING.”

Well, this was a reference to the fact that the Irishman has failed to make a comeback to the UFC for almost 3 years now. However, there has been a recent announcement by McGregor stating his involvement in an exhibition bout with Logan Paul. And reacting to the news, Team Khabib once again had some hard takes.
Javier Mendez Chimes In On Conor McGregor vs. Logan Paul
According to Conor McGregor’s announcement, he will fight Logan Paul in a $250 million super fight in India. But according to Khabib Nurmagomedov’s coach, Javier Mendez, the fight, if it happens, will be boring.
“That’s going to be a bomb. His brother hasn’t won a freaking boxing match. Give me a break … That [Conor vs. Jake] is the fight I’d rather watch,” Mendez stated.

However, Mendez also stated that a face-off with Jake Paul might have been a better choice when it comes to the quality of fighting. But Mendez did acknowledge the ability of both Paul and McGregor to sell a fight. Thus, with a lot of confusion going on, it will be interesting to see how things pan out in the near future.
