Khabib Nurmagomedov is regarded as one of the all-time greats in mixed martial arts. Beyond that, his impressive run at lightweight speaks for itself, and he ended his career in the sport undefeated.
However, according to RT and Mash.ru, there are no doubts about a few of his financial transactions made after retiring. The sources say Khabib is under investigation for allegedly underpaying his business taxes by 300 million rubles or almost USD 3 million.
The probe took a severe turn when Khabib left MMA and withdrew from several businesses. According to RT, the government had frozen several of his company bank accounts after the Federal Tax Service found anomalies in the documentation.

Nurmagomedov’s case of all tax evasion accusations has surfaced, according to a Championship Rounds X post. The picture had a caption. “ Khabib Nurmagomedov’s team has issued a statement and has called the information about tax debts ‘inaccurate’:
“The information about tax debt is inaccurate. Khabib continues to engage in business projects and develop them.”
An Update on the previously shared post by Championship Rounds on their Instagram handle states Khabib’s take on the same, the post read, “Khabib Nurmagomedob: The information about tax debt inaccurate”.

With the caption “Khabib Nurmagomedov’s team has issued a statement and have called the information about tax debts ‘inaccurate’:

The Instagram post also stated that the information was deemed “inaccurate” in his team’s official statement. However, the retired boxer remains the subject of an inquiry because the agency is still handling the issue. The champion never looked back after retiring; instead, he gave to numerous organisations and companies.
