Kayla Harrison doesn’t hesitate to show her confidence in her skills; she believes they are superior to Khabib Nurmagomedov’s.
Harrison is a well-known PFL women’s lightweight competitor. She’s guaranteed a playoff berth in the women’s 155-pound division. Many believe Sarah Kaufman and the Olympic gold medallist in judo will face off in the finals.
In a 2019 interview with ESPN, Harrison compared herself to a better female Khabib Nurmagomedov, the lightweight champion of the UFC.
Ali Abdelaziz is the manager of both Harrison and Nurmagomedov. Harrison clarified that she is fond of Nurmagomedov, implying she is not attempting to incite conflict with “The Eagle.”

Harrison gave a tremendous performance and dominated right away. In the second round, the rookie took less than two minutes to submit Holm with a rear-naked choke and win her maiden octagon bout.
Ali Abdelaziz, Harrison’s agent, can’t help but think about Khabib Nurmagomedov, his longtime buddy and client. Abdelaziz recently posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, covering a variety of subjects.
He called out bantamweight champion Raquel Pennington and No. 1 contender Julianna Pena and predicted that most fighters would avoid Harrison. Nurmagomedov forced a similar situation before his championship reign, as his fearsome reputation preceded him.
As he wrote on his social media page,
“Where is Raquel ,Juliana everyone was talking about demise of @KaylaH 2024 she will be the most avoided Fighter remind me of Khabib before become champion Amanda never gonna come back don’t get too excited”.
Kayla Harrison, a two-time PFL Lightweight champion, hopes to increase her number of championships in the UFC.
