Karate is among the most respected sports on the planet, with a practitioner rate currently at about 100 million people worldwide. There would be a league for a combat sport that many people love.
The Karate Combat League is the sport’s premiere fighting league, traveling to events worldwide. While it may not be known as one of the most significant leagues in the world, it has gained a viewership of roughly 5 million followers.
Karate is not only a sport meant to be held in high regard, but it’s also a league that must be respected at all times, so it may come as a shock to many that during one of the Karate Combat League’s recent events, a brawl ensued.
Karate Kombat 47 was held in Orlando, Florida, before a sold-out crowd, where Luis Melendez defeated Will Esparza via a unanimous decision on the main card. Melendez would begin taunting Esparza, causing members of Esparza’s team to rush the pit, causing a brawl.

Obviously, the corner-man was out for a while due to being choked out by a former MMA champion, and it took a while for him to regain consciousness; however, soon after he did so, Esparza and his team were escorted off the premises.
If one thing is for sure, it doesn’t seem like we’ll be seeing Dana White hope in the cage to de-escalate a brawl in the UFC anytime soon, so Zaidi’s actions were pretty cool to see, and they were indeed one of a kind, he even allowed the card to continue.
