Sean O’Malley has responded to Conor McGregor. The Irishman is set to return to the octagon later this year finally. He was previously seen in action against Dustin Poirier back in 2021 in a trilogy.
Ahead of the fight, McGregor took shots at Ryan Garcia for testing positive for PEDs. In the same tweet, he also condemned Sean O’Malley. Now, the UFC bantamweight champion has clapped back at McGregor.
During a recent podcast episode, O’Malley reacted to Conor McGregor’s comments. While claiming that he wishes that McGregor gets knocked out in his upcoming fight, O’Malley said:
“Oh yea, f*** Conor. I’ve seen a lot of people being like ‘damn, I bet Suga’s sad’… I was more sad than mad…Now I cannot wait to see Michael Chandler absolutely just sleep him. I’m turning up, I’m changing up real quick. F*** Conor.”
Conor McGregor’s coach makes a bold prediction for his fight
It has been suggested by many that Conor McGregor’s lack of action over the past few years could prove to be helpful for Michael Chandler. However, McGregor’s coach believes that will not be the case.
Interestingly, his coach made a bold prediction for the fight and claimed that he did not see the fight going even two rounds; he said:

“He’s looking super slick… I said this from the start, I see similarities to the Mendes fight. I’d be surprised if it can go two rounds. [McGregor] hits too hard, he’s too sharp. Is there going to be scrappiness and a few takedowns and stuff? Maybe But every round starts on the feet and his ability to get back there is underestimated.”

That said, it will be interesting to see how the fight between McGregor and Chandler plays out on June 29th at UFC 303.
