The way Alex Pereira has dominated in his short career, winning two titles and defending them against some of the biggest names in the company, has led to allegations of him using voodoo.
First, Jiri Prochazka stated that Poatan uses spirits before his fights to dominate. Now, Jon Jones has also added his voice to these claims, stating that he believes it’s real.
Jon Jones Alleges Alex Pereira Uses Spirits in Fights
Jones recently commented on Twitter about the ongoing speculations regarding spirit channeling in MMA, affirming his belief in its reality. He mentioned feeling various energies in arenas and when facing certain opponents. Additionally, Jones emphasized the supremacy of Jesus Christ above all else.
It appears that Jon Jones has also experienced varying energies when facing opponents. To give Pereira the benefit of the doubt, everyone enters the octagon with different energies based on their training. Some exude confidence, while others may show nervousness, so these claims might not be true. Nevertheless, it’s interesting that two of the company’s biggest stars have alleged the use of magic.
Meanwhile, all eyes are on Jones as he remains sidelined due to injury, with fans eagerly awaiting his return. While there’s high demand for a Jones vs. Pereira matchup, it appears there’s a low probability of it happening. Pereira’s manager has hinted at his next fight possibly being against Jan Blachowicz, while Jones is eyeing a potential bout with Stipe Miocic. However, there is no doubt that if this happens, it will be one of the most hyped events in recent history. Meanwhile, seeing how Pereira will react to this will be interesting.
