The UFC Light Heavyweight champion Jon Jones is doing his part to make sure protesters don’t destroy his city in the anger that has come in light of George Floyd being killed by Minneapolis Cops.
In an Instagram post, ‘Bones’ says, “Alright, it’s time to put in some work. Got a nice little crew of guys. Volunteers. See if we can find something to clean up. You guys ready to do some work? Let’s get it? You guys need help with your small businesses? We’re here to help. Hit us up. We’ll be here all day. Time to work”
In addition to cleaning up debris, he encouraged those who need assistance to reach out to him and urged protests to not engage in vandalism whilst attempting to stand for a cause.
He tweeted, “So proud of the city of Albuquerque tonight, the night is still young but as of now, the looting is almost nonexistent. The peaceful protest was beautiful.”

He also rounded up his crew on Monday night that was filled with cops and promised to protect the City of Albuquerque from violent looters and vandals.
“We are fathers, we are brothers, are business owners, we are members of this community and we don’t want to see you spray painting for no reason. We don’t want to see you guys throwing rocks through windows for no reason. We don’t want to see you guys breaking down hard-earned businesses for no reason.”
“Tonight we’re gonna try and stop as many of you as we can.”
Jones explained, “We come in peace. We’re going to use our voices, our numbers and were going to be the difference.”
