Before his comeback, Jon Jones is enjoying an incredible experience at the Las Vegas Sphere. After UFC president Dana White’s multi-million dollar investment, the Sphere has become a hot topic in the MMA world. Everyone is waiting for UFC Noche because it features top-notch technology to enhance the viewer experience to its fullest.
In a now-deleted post, Jones gave a brief tour of the grand Las Vegas Sphere with the caption, “The Sphere in Las Vegas, Amazing Experience with my family.”
White revealed a $16 million investment in the Sphere before UFC Noche. The Sphere, which cost $2.3 billion to build, can hold about 18,600 people, or around 20,000 with floor seating. Inside, it features the world’s largest LED screen at 160,000 square feet and an amazing audio experience.
Is Jon Jones’ Return Confirmed?
Jones’ last bout came at the UFC 285 in Match 2023, when he defeated Ciryl Gane to win the heavyweight title. He was set to fight Stipe Miocic last November at UFC 295 but withdrew, citing a torn pectoral tendon. It took nearly a year to recover, but Jones has now confirmed his plans to return to the octagon.
‘Bones’, who is considered MMA’s greatest fighter of all time, will probably return on November 9, 2024. The UFC heavyweight champion announced he will fight at the Madison Square Garden pay-per-view event.
Jon Jones will certainly face the former heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic next. He has always wanted this bout to happen, even putting other challengers like interim heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall aside. Jones has begun training for his return, though officials haven’t confirmed the exact date. Fans should expect him to come back by the end of the year.
