A few days ago, boxing legend Mike Tyson was giving his opinion on the pay disputes between top fighters and the UFC. Tyson pointed out that although the UFC is doing better than boxing, they’ll never be able to pay fighters like in boxing.
“Listen to this, UFC is more popular than boxing, right? Higher ratings, right?. But a UFC fighter will never be richer than a first-class fighter. To make a $100 million, Conor McGregor had to fight Floyd Mayweather. Jon Jones got to fight me if he wants to make some super money”
That last part caught the attention of Jon Jones, so he responded on social media and stated he would fight Tyson in the ring as long as he fights him in the Octagon.
“I’ll box you in the ring if you promise to give me a real fight in the octagon afterwards,” Jones posted. “And because I respect you so much, I promise I won’t break anything on you.”
