Late last month, officers responded to a domestic disturbance at Caesars Palace after a call stating that a white female adult, later identified as Jones’ fiancée Jessie Moses, was bleeding from “her nose/mouth.” Once police arrived, the UFC superstar was found outside the hotel where they stated that the former UFC champion resisted arrest as he was being taken into custody.
“As Jones was being detained, he became irate and smashed his head into the front hood of the [Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department] patrol vehicle leaving a medium size dent as well as chipping of some of the paint on the vehicle,” police wrote in the report.
The details of the incident are still emerging, but it did not stop Jones from posting a video to his Instagram on Friday that showed him and Moses kissing in a car.
“And I’ll stay with you,” the video read. “Oh I will stay with you through the ups and the downs.”
Jones has already commented on the situation and blamed his battle with alcohol for losing control. Back at Caesars Palace, police made contact with Moses, who stated that “she was sleeping and Jones came back, [he] was not very happy” and when asked if he got physical with her, she answered, “a little bit yeah.” Moses then claimed that Jones “touched the back of my head and pulled my hair a little bit but he did not hit me or anything.” Moses explained that Jones allegedly grabbed her by the hair because she was “trying to leave the room.”

Police noticed blood on her clothing and a bump with “dried up blood on the lower part of her lip as if she was in a physical altercation.”
She declined filing for a protective order against Jones. He had just been inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame just hours before the incident occurred. In the midst of his arrest, Jones became “extremely agitated” and stated that he will have a “huge lawsuit” filed against the police department for putting him in handcuffs “on the biggest night of his life.”
Jones reportedly took turns between crying, getting agitated, and being calm with officers as he joked he could escape the handcuffs. Once they told him he would be tased, he started to comply.
Jones was then transported to a local holding facility where he was charged with misdemeanor battery domestic as well as a felony charge for the damage done to the police car.
