Surprisingly, it all came true recently when a Fly Frontier Airlines attendant asked the former UFC champion to switch his seat. When Khabib denied and agreed to help the passengers with the emergency exit, the flight attendant remained adamant. Ultimately, the UFC legend was escorted out of the flight, sending the UFC world into a frenzy.
UFC color commentator Joe Rogan did not seem to have taken the incident in a good light. Speaking on an episode of his ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’ podcast, the 57-year-old lashed out at the flight attendant for the shocking behavior. Rogan stated that from the video, it was clearly visible that Khabib was calm and talking in a respectful manner.
“He was calm and respectful, he obviously speaks English… Wouldn’t you love to be on that flight and go ‘Ma’am, do you know who that is?’…” Rogan said.

Indeed, Nurmagomedov had to go through significant harassment. After being escorted out of the plane, the UFC legend and his team had to wait for 1.5 hours before they could get an alternative flight. Meanwhile, Khabib Nurmagomedov himself has clarified the entire incident on his X account.

Khabib Nurmagomedov was traveling to California with his team. With UFC 311 coming up, the UFC legend is supposed to join his cousin, Umar Nurmagomedov. While his invaluable tips are expected to help Umar secure his maiden UFC title, the experience Khabib had prior to landing in California was pretty sour.
Taking to his X account, the undefeated champion wrote, “First of all, I need to clarify that it was @FlyFrontier not AlaskaAir.
