Jamahal Hill had a bitter return to the octagon. After vacating his light heavyweight title, he vowed to take it back from Alex Pereira in the mega face-off at UFC 300. Unfortunately, things went downhill for him as Pereira made short work of him and knocked him out. However, ever since his stinging loss, Hill has been itching to have a rematch.
Now, while it is not sure how fast the former champion will be granted a title shot, one thing’s for sure. ‘Sweet Dreams’ is still being taunted by the fans for his loss. In a recent post, a fan uploaded a video of Pereira’s KO to Hill and wrote, “Just to pi** Jamahal off.”

Surely, such an insult was taken lightly by the former UFC light heavyweight champion. He immediately lashed out at the fan and replied in a sarcastic manner, “That all you got?” Meanwhile, looking to gain an upper hand, Hill would be eager to win his bout at UFC 311. And thankfully, he is in a ‘good state’ ahead of the game.
Jamahal Hill Reflects On His Mental Health
Jamahal Hill will be facing off against Jiri Prochazka in the UFC 311 co-main event. While the bout is being touted as a potential title shot eliminator, both fighters will be eager to pick up the victory. Luckily for Hill, he claims to be feeling mentally good as the all-important bout dawns on him.
“I’m in a good spot. The bounce in my legs is coming back very, very well, and I haven’t really thought about my Achilles for a while now. The knee injury has not been as bothersome,” Hill said in a recent interaction with WOOD TV8.

Thus, with ‘Sweet Dreams’ looking confident, it will now be interesting to see whether he can topple the Samurai or not. And if he manages to win, a rematch for the title might just be on offer from Dana White.
