Could we be seeing a Jake Paul vs. Conor McGregor bout in the near future? Tensions appears to be heating up between the two, leading to the thought that it could be a real possibility.
The latest chapter between these two is unfolding on Twitter before everyone’s eyes.
It began when Jake Paul posted a couple of comments on Twitter in response to a training video that McGregor had posted to social media. Paul called out Conor, calling the footage “embarrassing” before doubling down and claiming that he’d knock out the former UFC champ in a boxing or MMA bout with “the right hand of God.”
Those who thought McGregor would just stand by and take the criticism clearly don’t know the Irish fighter. Conor immediately took to Instagram to fire back at Paul, calling him a “Jackass” while shadowboxing in his bed.

Jake Paul obviously wasn’t going to allow McGregor to have the final word. He responded swiftly by once again insulting Conor’s boxing skills, calling it “sloppy” while calling out the UFC star for drinking Jack Daniels in Dubai while he’s busy training for an MMA bout.
Paul then took things one step further by asking Dana White to sign him to a one-fight contract in order to make a bout with McGregor happen. He even had quite the proposal for Dana, telling him he’d donate his entire purse and never talk about the UFC again if he loses.
Will Dana bite? He seems content on never allowing Jake Paul to get the better of him. But if the money is right, can he really say no?
