Rogan’s Discussed AI Threat with Sam Altman
In the past, Joe Rogan has also questioned Sam Altman, the founder of OpenAI, over whether or not false AI material should worry society. AI has the potential to be a game-changing technological advancement that will enhance human civilization. However, it also is an existential threat to all creative industries.
During the discussion with Rogan, the two raised significant concerns about the future of creativity and its ethical ramifications by shedding light on the possible domination of AI-generated material.
The audio conversation with the Center for Humane Technology co-founders highlighted the importance of continuing to debate and consider how artificial intelligence influences online cultural content as the organization strives to promote ethical technology use.
Rogan also revealed how he makes notes to prepare for his comedy sketch or gig.
Joe Rogan, during his podcast with Brian Redban, talks about making notes for his comedies: “There are many times, like at the end of the night, I have done that, so what I do is I have a whole folder on my phone that are just ideas.”

“When I write, I look at those and see if something comes into my head.”
During their conversation, Brian Redman asked Joe Rogan if it would be a great idea to put all the ideas into an AI to make one whole story out of it.
“The thing about AI is that I have never used AI or GPT to write a joke, but I know people are doing that now, and I thought I wouldn’t feel as good about it when it was done. Like, I don’t want it just to be good. I want it to have to come from my head”, Rogan responded.
