Conor McGregor might be the most versatile and talented fighter on the UFC roster. After capturing gold in two different divisions he went on to become a very successful businessman. Now as it turns out he’s trying his luck in Hollywood.
Conor McGregor has been missing from the octagon for almost three years now. In a recent interview Conor was seen giving a vivid and unique description of his movie.
Conor McGregor loves his new Hollywood project
While the world awaits Conor McGregor to return to the octagon the Mac has been busy promoting his latest Hollywood project on various media platform and places. His movie ‘Roadhouse’ is a remake of the 1989 classic that goes by the same name. While the genre of the movie is action, seems like Conor has found his peace amongst the chaos as he used a rather interesting word to describe the movie. McGregor said,
For me the movie is relaxing. It’s a real relaxing movie. You’re really gonna sit down and relax. It might sound strange because its bar fights and action. But just the visuals of it is an escape. For me that’s what I’m looking for. I am just looking to escape from whatever’s going on. You get me?
He made this quote in a conversation with celebrated MMA journalist Ariel Helwani. It was rather a weird description of the movie by Conor as the movie is basically based out in a coastal town which is run by mobs and gangsters. The movie is filled with spectacular action scenes where even Conor McGregor exchanges fists with Hollywood star Jake Gyllenhaal.
It’ll be interesting to see if Conor is accepted by the Hollywood folks just like he is accepted by the fighting community. It’s without a doubt that Conor’s aura must have taken this movie to a different level altogether. Seems like Conor has embraced the chaos in his life as he can be the only one who finds a film like Roadhouse and escape. It’ll be interesting to see when does Conor comes back from the promotional activities of his movies and makes a sensational return to his beloved sport of violence.
