Riyadh Season Partners with Noche UFC: Conor McGregor and Alexa Grasso Set to Share PPV Card
Conor McGregor was scheduled to fight Michael Chandler at UFC 303 this weekend. But the Irishman had to withdraw due to a broken toe, leading to the canceled fight. Fans are eagerly waiting for his long-awaited return to the UFC, and McGregor mentioned that September or October would be ideal for his comeback so that he might headline this big PPV event.
Meanwhile, UFC women’s flyweight champion Alexa Grasso spoke to MMA Junkie outside The Sphere in Las Vegas about the iconic upcoming UFC 306 event on September 14. Grasso shared her thoughts on possibly sharing the Noche UFC card with McGregor at The Sphere in September, saying, “Well, imagine that. I would love to share a card with Conor McGregor… It could be huge. I mean, our flags are kind of similar. It would be amazing to share a card with him.”
This marks the first instance where the promotion has granted a sponsor the title partner status, transforming UFC 306 into Riyadh Season Noche UFC. If McGregor headlines this event, given his massive global fan base and the anticipation surrounding his return, it is expected to become a major pay-per-view event. Although it hasn’t been confirmed yet, this event will surely be one of the biggest in UFC history.
