Israel Adesanya is going through a challenging phase in the UFC after losing his middleweight title to Sean Strickland. Following the loss, Adesanya aimed to reclaim the belt but fell short, suffering another defeat to Dricus Du Plessis. Now, ‘Izzy’ is preparing to face Nasrudine Immov in the main event of UFC Saudi Arabia and has revealed his intense training regimen ahead of the fight.
Adesanya is set for his first non-title fight in six years. Despite this, Imavov has earned his shot at a major fight after three straight impressive victories. A win over ‘The Last Stylebender’ could position him for a middleweight title shot.
Meanwhile, Adesanya is prioritizing his upcoming fight while focusing on reclaiming his title. In a recent YouTube video, Adesanya gave a glimpse into his training, saying:
“Some MMA work, then wrestling for about an hour and a half, and then strength training—that’s my day.”
