Israel Adesanya Exposes Bradley Martyn’s Attempt to Challenge Him to a Fight
Israel Adesanya, a prominent UFC fighter of his era, has gained widespread recognition for his skills in the Octagon. Conversely, Bradley Martyn has carved out a niche in the MMA scene, notably by asserting his ability to outmatch professional fighters. Adesanya recounted an encounter with Martyn on Demetrious Johnson’s MightyCast podcast, revealing that the fitness influencer once challenged him to a fight at a house party.
On the podcast, Adesanya revealed, “When Jake fought Nate Robinson, I met Jake Paul at the hotel and then he invited me to his house. I get there, crazy. This was during COVID-19 times. There’s a ring in the backyard and I got word through someone that, ‘oh, this guy is trying to get Izzy in the ring’ and I said, ‘Nah, I’m just here to have fun, I ain’t doing none of that’.”
Martyn has openly challenged several fighters, asserting that his 260-pound physique would overpower them. Despite Martyn’s claims, Adesanya did not consider him a formidable opponent. Adesanya’s dismissal suggests that he didn’t consider Martyn’s boasts credible or worthy of consideration in a professional fighting context.
