A tarnished reputation is like a broken mirror—it can still reflect, but the image is distorted. This perfectly describes Conor McGregor’s current situation. The Irishman recently shook the MMA world by sparking controversy after a guilty verdict in an infamous sexual assault case. As expected, the Dagestani fighters’ camp, which has long criticized McGregor’s actions, quickly seized the moment to speak out.
After six years, Nikita Hand, the woman who accused Conor McGregor of ra**ng her in a Dublin hotel, has won her case for damages in a High Court civil suit. McGregor, who denied the allegations of “brutally ra*ing and battering” her, announced he would appeal the decision. With this becoming the biggest buzz in the fight world, Islam Makhachev, a close ally of Khabib Nurmagomedov—McGregor’s fiercest rival—has joined the criticism, lambasting the Irishman over the verdict.
The UFC lightweight champion said that it was only a matter of time before McGregor was exposed, labeling him as an alcoholic, drug addict, and ra*ist. Not only this, he also added that more damaging facts about McGregor would eventually come to light. “It was a matter of time till this filthy bastard be exposed. Alcoholic, drug junkie, + ra*ist. Many more facts to come out, trust me,” Makhachev wrote.

Khabib Nurmagomedov’s Subtle Dig At Conor McGregor After Guilty Verdict
Not only Islam Makhachev but Khabib Nurmagomedov also reacted to the news. As soon as the verdict spread like wildfire, Khabib quickly shared the news on his Instagram but said nothing. His silence spoke louder than words, possibly sending a clear message that the Russian former world champion didn’t feel the need to add anything further.
Notably, back in 2019, Khabib openly said that justice would eventually catch up with McGregor, calling him a “ra*ist.” With McGregor now proven guilty, the internet quickly praised Khabib’s earlier prediction, with many applauding his remarkable foresight. It will be interesting to see if this affects McGregor’s future as he prepares for his UFC return.
