The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will return to Abu Dhabi on Saturday, August 3, 2024, on ESPN+. The main event of the exciting “Fight Night” program will feature a bantamweight bout between Cory Sandhagen, rated No. 2, and Umar Nurmagomedov, ranked No. 10.
Nick Diaz To Make His Comeback In UFC in August
Nick Diaz, a veteran of the UFC, is preparing for his second victorious comeback.
After winning the first-ever Strikeforce welterweight title in 2010 and going on to face Georges St-Pierre and Carlos Condit for UFC gold, Diaz has yet to step inside the Octagon much since 2015.
Following a dispute surrounding a drug test after his fight with Anderson Silva, Diaz only fought again in UFC 266 in 2021, when he faced fellow veteran Robbie Lawler. After getting knocked down in round three, the Stockton native decided not to return, indicating that he was far from his best.
Although many demanded that Diaz step down, he referred to more fights in the future. And it’s official that he will make his comeback.
