Jorge Masvidal is seemingly targeting a fight against Conor McGregor. The Diaz vs Masvidal bout is set to take place on July 6, almost five years after their previous fight in the UFC. For those unaware, the fight was supposed to happen on June 1, but it was postponed.
The last time these two locked horns inside the octagon, Masvidal was declared the winner by a technical knockout as a doctor intervened before due to an injury to Nate Diaz in November 2019. Many fans wanted to see a rematch between the two in the UFC, but they never got the chance as both fighters left the organization.
While Jorge Masvidal certainly has a good fight on his hands, he might be targeting Conor McGregor next. Masvidal recently took to his Instagram stories and posted a picture of a rumored fight against McGregor in 2019, suggesting he is still open to it.

After years of waiting, fans are finally set to see Conor McGregor enter the squared circle again. He was last seen inside the octagon in 2021 and will return in June to fight Michael Chandler.
