Speculations and rumors have all been around for Conor McGregor’s return to the UFC octagon. It has been over three years since fans witnessed the Mystic Mac throwing punches in the MMA cage. Although he was set to face Michael Chandler at the UFC 303, his unexpected toe fracture hindered that as well. The Mystic Mac last fought in the MMA cage back on July 10, 2021, against Dustin Poirier at the UFC 264.
However, a series of media appearances hint at his potential return at the end of this year. An MMA journalist, Chisanga Malata, questioned McGregor if he was eying a comeback on December 14, 2024, which is the date for UFC 310.
Malata asked McGregor, “And last one from me. December 14th, is that going to be the new date?” McGregor replied by saying, “That sounds good to me.”
