Michael Chandler Eyes BMF Showdown with Max Holloway
Conor McGregor withdrew from the sold-out UFC 303 pay-per-view due to an injury. However, UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira stepped in, again saving the card. Dana White decided to change the entire main event for this card. Recently, McGregor hinted at his return on social media with a post stating, “I Will Be Back.”
Michael Chandler has faced significant criticism for his decision to wait on the sidelines for Conor McGregor. Many fans argue that Chandler shouldn’t wait for the Mac. In response, Chandler has hinted that a potential fight against Max Holloway for the BMF title might be in the works.
Chandler acknowledged the possibility by replying with a saluting emoji and expressing his interest in the fight. Meanwhile, Max Holloway’s next fight hasn’t been officially confirmed yet. It was initially expected that ‘Blessed’ would return to 145 pounds to face Ilia Topuria and reclaim his featherweight title.
