Former UFC champion Daniel Cormier has humiliated Nate Diaz with Khabib Nurmagomedov’s reminder.
Nate Diaz and Daniel Cormier have been going back and forth online. It started when Diaz proposed the idea of headlining the UFC 306. Which will be the promotion’s first event at The Sphere in Las Vegas.
Responding to Nate Diaz’s suggestion, Daniel Cormier was seemingly against the idea. This prompted a reaction from Diaz and the Stockton native labeled Cormier as a “b*tch”.
Reacting to the same, the former UFC double champion posted a video on his YouTube channel. In the video, Cormier clapped back at Diaz while revisiting a conversation with Khabib Nurmagomedov where ‘The Eagle’ suggested that Diaz is not worth taking seriously. He said:
“I was talking to Khabib. And it was when Nate was coming at Khabib. And Khabib said something to the effect of, ‘This man has lost 12 or 13 fights in his career.’ He’s like, ‘Daniel, I can’t respond to this guy. I can’t take this guy serious. Because who loses to that many people?’ How can you call me ‘not a fighter’ when you have had those instances? What did I do? I fought the best.”

Dustin Poirier seems doubtful about a potential fight against Nate Diaz
There was a time when Dustin Poirier teased a potential fight against Nate Diaz at UFC 300. However, Poirier was later booked to fight Benoit Saint-Denis at UFC 299. Moreover, the two were booked to fight back in 2018 at UFC 230. But ‘The Diamond’ had to pull out of the fight because of an injury.

Speaking about a potential fight against Nate Diaz in the future, Dustin Poirier has suggested that the UFC isn’t keen on bringing back Diaz. During a recent appearance on The MMA Hour, Poirier said:
“We spoke about Nate a little bit, but I don’t think they’re bringing him back. I’m not sure. I don’t want to get into all that stuff. I don’t know what’s going on, but no, no other big names. Nothing was thrown. The Nate one is going to get away. I don’t know how many fights I have left – I think six with the UFC. He’s moving on to boxing and stuff. I just don’t see how our paths will cross. I just wanted to fight this guy because I grew up watching him.”
