Weili Zhang defended her UFC women’s strawweight title last night at UFC 300. In the co-main event of the highly anticipated event, an all-Chinese women’s clash was put together.
Zhang started the fight strongly and was seemingly dominating it until the third round. Moreover, she nearly secured a submission victory as well. However, Xiaonan managed to fight through it and recover pretty well. She even caused a lot of problems for the champion in the third round.
However, Weili Zhang came back in the fourth and fifth rounds to secure a unanimous decision victory, which also marked her second successful title defense. With that said about the fight, in this piece, we will take a look at how much money Zhang made by retaining her title.
