The Mexican great Oscar Valdez had the time of his life after beating out his Australian counterpart. As he knocked him out with viscous combinations in the seventh round.
Pan Am updates was reported that Valdez took home a cool 12 million dollar sum after knocking out the Aussie. Valdez made it clear after the fight to whom does the division belongs to. Liam is not going empty handed back to the Kangaroo land as he made a whopping nine million dollars in his loss against Valdez.
The 33 year old Mexican athlete is considered one of the best pound for pound athletes in the whole world. He holds a record of 32 wins and only a pair of losses with an impressive knockout rate of 75 percent. Valdez bounced back from his loss against Emmanuel Navarrete in a rather impressive manner. Valdez’s another came against Shakur Stevenson.
It’ll be intriguing to see if Valdez can avenge his loss against Stevenson and Navarrete in the near future. He previously held titles in two weight divisions, being crowned WBC super featherweight champion from 2021 to 2022 and WBO featherweight champion from 2016 to 2019. Oscar Valdez’s followers will be hoping that he recaptures his title and brings it back home.
