Rose Namajunas regained her UFC strawweight title in the co-main event of UFC 261. After this, she became the first woman UFC Champion to lose the title and regain it. Rose Namajunas fought against Zhang Weili and defeated her with a brutal head knockout. This win of Namajunas marked her second time reign for the strawweight title.
Rose Namajunas, also referred to as “Thug,” has engaged in 18 bouts to date. Twelve fights have been won by her, two of which were via knockout, six via submission, and four via decision. and has six bout losses. On March 24, 2024, she will compete against Amanda Ribas at UFC Vegas 89.
Rose Namajunas had to win her championship a third time after winning it back a second time, to retain her UFC Strawweight champion.

With a straight right hand, Namajunas felled Jedrzejczyk early. Jedrzejczyk is considered to be one of the best and most technical strikers in the UFC. Jedrzejczyk stood up and appeared to get better fast.
Yet Namajunas had not finished. She felled Jedrzejczyk a second time with a left hook that hit him on the chin. Jedrzejczyk was unable to survive this time. At 3:03 of the first, Namajunas struck Jedrzejczyk with a succession of hammer fists from the top, forcing referee John McCarthy to break it up. Thereby, winning her UFC Women’s Strawweight Title for the first time.
