The UFC is gearing up to welcome its biggest superstar to the octagon later this month. Conor McGregor is set to take on Michael Chandler in the main event of UFC 303. It’s only fair that the UFC builds up the fight in some fashion to mark the Mac’s return and promote the event. The organizers had scheduled a press conference between Chandler and Conor in Dublin, but it had to be called off.
Rumors were going around in the UFC that Conor McGregor had an injury, which is why the presser in Dublin was called off.

Josh Thompson is the former world MMA champion and now runs the podcast Weighing In. He confirmed that Conor McGregor got injured in the cage, so the UFC 303 presser was called off. In his podcast Weighing In, Thompson touched on the topic. He said,
The sources that I have heard from, that Conor is dealing with a little but of injury
Thompson confirmed that Conor McGregor is dealing with an injury; therefore, he has called off the presser in Dublin, Ireland. On June 2nd, Conor and Chandler were all set to engage in verbal jabs in the capital city of Dublin, but the presser was called off because Conor McGregor suffered a small injury in camp.
The MMA fans will want the Irish superstar to get well and be back in the octagon against Chandler for the main event of UFC 303. Conor has already been sitting on the sidelines for three years after being injured against Dustin Poirier in the octagon in 2021. The former Bellator champion Michael Chandler has been the much more active fighter in the cage and will surely look to test Conor’s ring rust.
