The MMA world is buzzing with anticipation as UFC 306 approaches. The bantamweight title clash between Sean O’Malley and Merab Dvalishvili is at the heart of the excitement. But there’s a twist in this tale, courtesy of former champ Henry Cejudo.
Cejudo recently dropped a bombshell about O’Malley’s fight camp. He claimed to have inside information that could spell trouble for the reigning champion. According to “Triple C,” O’Malley is struggling with his ground game. Apparently, the champ can’t figure out how to get off his back.
“I know that Merab is going to get this win. I know a little bit about O’Malley’s fight camp and how it’s been going… He doesn’t know how to get off the bottom, he’s having trouble. I’ve had three training partners that have gone out there, and they’ve all told me the same sh*t,” said Cejudo via the Pound 4 Pound Podcast.
Henry Cejudo thinks this plays right into Dvalishvili’s hands. The Georgian fighter is known for his relentless wrestling and cardio. If O’Malley can’t handle being on his back, well, he might be in for a long night at The Sphere.
Of course, this is not concrete news, and fans have to take Cejudo’s words with a grain of salt. But if Cejudo’s right, it could change the whole dynamic of the fight. Dvalishvili might smell blood in the water and go crazy with his takedowns.

O’Malley and Cejudo have been at each other’s throats for a while now. Their rivalry has become the stuff of MMA legend. Recently, O’Malley took their feud to a whole new level. He crashed Cejudo’s podcast, the “Pound 4 Pound,” for a quick drive-by trolling. Talk about commitment to the bit!

O’Malley popped in, all smiles and rainbow hair. He had two reasons for his surprise appearance, he said. First, to praise Kamaru Usman, Cejudo’s co-host. Classy move. But the next reason took the cake.
“Boys, you guys know I’m a very, very busy man. I’ll keep this short. I came here for two reasons. One, to praise you, Kamaru, you’re an absolute legend. And two, Henry, how did you let Aljo take you down so easy? You’re welcome!” said O’Malley via Pound 4 Pound Podcast.
O’Malley didn’t stick around for Cejudo’s response. He dropped that verbal bomb and vanished. It was the MMA equivalent of a mic drop. He is preparing for the biggest fight of his career, yet he finds time to troll his rivals. That’s multitasking at its finest!
