Jones is a natural wrestler, and there is no opponent he has not taken down and submitted on the mat. Jones is a ground-and-pound martial artist who lost only one fight, mainly because of disqualification.
Jon last fought famed striker Cyril Gane, who took him down and submitted him inside the octagon in the first round. After being out of the octagon for four years, he showed no signs of ring rust. Jon Jones will fight Stipe Miocic next, who is regarded as the most fantastic heavyweight striker in the UFC. It’ll be interesting to see if Stipe wins against one more all-time great and future Hall of Famer.
