Conor McGregor, the former two-division champion, has reignited his feud with Paulie Malignaggi, the former professional boxer, ahead of his June return to the Octagon. McGregor claims the Italian-American was “battered out of the gym” during their infamous 2017 sparring sessions.
Former UFC lightweight and featherweight champion Conor McGregor has been out of action for over three years after breaking both his fibula and left tibia during a first-round doctor’s stoppage TKO loss to Dustin Poirier.
McGregor is officially scheduled to headline UFC 303 at the end of June at International Fight Week, marking his formal return to competitive action amid almost a year of rumours tying him with a return to the Octagon.

Dispute Between Conor McGregor And Oaulie Malignaggi
“Notorious” and Malignaggi have been at odds for a long time, and he has recently escalated their conflict by investing in the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship [BKFC].
The former UFC dual-weight champion said he is now a part-owner of the “fastest rising sports promotion in the world” during a Saturday night interruption of BKFC KnuckleMania 4.
Malignaggi, an analyst for rival BYB-KFC, was fired by McGregor after discovering he was working with former UFC commentator Mike Goldberg.

Before facing Floyd Mayweather in the ring in 2017, McGregor sparred with Malignaggi a few times before sharing a video that didn’t look good on the New Yorker.
The UFC icon appeared to drop “Magic Man” in one of the clips, but the American fighter has always maintained that he won the fight and wasn’t taken down by McGregor.
The clip has resurfaced online again as Conor McGregor said, “He Got Knocked out of the Gym”
Since then, the two men have developed a fierce rivalry. Malignaggi never misses an opportunity to poke fun at the Irishman, with whom he remains bitter even after seven years.
With McGregor and Malignaggi now employed by competing bare-knuckle promotions, viewers should anticipate a far more intense exchange.
