Zubaira Tukhugov Reveals Khabib Nurmagomedov’s Training Techniques
Khabib Nurmagomedov, widely regarded as one of the greatest mixed martial artists in history, retired from the sport in 2020 with an unbeaten record of 29-0. According to Zubaira Tukhugov, who spoke to Red Corner MMA, Nurmagomedov’s training regimen includes intense wrestling sessions, even during Ramadan.
Tukhugov said, “In Ramadan, we went to see Khabib Nurmagomedov. We wrestled for 30 minutes, he has totally obscured techniques. I said ‘how do you known this techniques?’ Khabib replied, ‘I wrestle every day!”
Zubaira Tukhugov, a Russian mixed martial artist, competed in the Lightweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He began his professional MMA career in 2010, gaining recognition in various promotions such as Cage Warriors, ProFC, and Fight Nights (EFN) before joining the UFC in 2014.
Khabib Nurmagomedov’s rigorous training routine includes demanding wrestling sessions, even during Ramadan. Tukhugov recalled a 30-minute wrestling session with Nurmagomedov, where he showcased highly effective techniques.
