Demetrious Johnson who defended his title a whopping eleven times in the UFC recently in a talk show gave his take on who he thinks is the greatest of all time. Surprisingly Johnson didn’t take his own name while telling who he thinks is the greatest in the history of MMA. Demetrious said,
On the top of my head. I have to say Jon Jones. I feel every single time he can spot somebody he can beat them however way he wanted.
Demetrious Johnson made it clear that he thinks its his Heavyweight counterpart who holds the crown of being the greatest ever. Jones has been in a total of fifteen title fights and won all of them. Jones last fought Cyril Gane and submitted him in the first round of his very first Heavyweight fight. It was quite impressive to see Jon beat the Frenchmen in an emphatic manner.
Demetrious Johnson also emphasized on the fact that Johnson has the ability to beat out his opponents in any manner that he likes and desires. Jones has a heavy wrestling pedigree to his name and has taken down every opponent he has ever faced inside of the octagon. Jon Jones will surely be pleased when he hears what Demetrious Johnson had to say about him.
