Former UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway is set to return to the octagon later tonight at UFC 300.
Last year, He was seen inside the octagon against the Korean Zombie and won the fight via knockout. For his battle later tonight, Holloway will take on Justin Gaethje. Moreover, Gaethje’s BMF belt will be on the line as well.
Max Holloway will be moving up to the lightweight division for this fight. It is worth noting that Holloway had previously fought in the lightweight division of the UFC.
His first and only lightweight bout to date was against Dustin Poirier in 2019. The bout was for the interim lightweight championship, and he lost unanimously. Since then, he has not fought in the lightweight division. That said, it remains to be seen how Holloway’s second fight in the lightweight division of the UFC turns out.
