The Welterweight division of the UFC is as lively as its ever been. The Englishman Leon Edwards still holds the Welterweight strap in the division after beating Kamaru Usman in back to back bouts. There is an up and coming challenger in Ian Garry who has won every fight of his career till now. He beat out every opponent with relative ease. The Irishman called out UFC veteran Colby Covington for a Welterweight fight in the UFC. The former two division champion Daniel Cormier was seen giving his take on a potential fight between the two.
Ian Garry has won all of his fights in the UFC till now. Colby Covington last won a fight against Jorge Masvidal a couple years back.

Daniel Cormier has won UFC titles at two different divisions in the company. He used to be the champion at the light heavyweight and the heavyweight divisions of the UFC. The Hall of Famer is well aware if what goes on behind the scenes at the absolute top. Ian Garry has called out Colby Covington recently. On the potential bout Daniel Cormier said,

Ian Garry said he wants to defend his wife’s honor all the while Colby Covington is insulting the man’s wife.
Daniel Cormier made it clear a lot has been going on with Ian Garry and Colby Covington outside of the Octagon for them to not get into a scrap. Colby has made some vile comments towards his wife and Ian Garry made it clear that he would love to take revenge on his wife’s part. Ian Garry’s relationship and the age difference he has with his wife were talk of town in the MMA world.
No fight or date between the two fighters has been confirmed yet. The MMA fans will be looking forward to a scrap between Colby and Garry if they are to ever agree to meet in the middle of the octagon. Colby is in a desperate need of a win and Ian seems to be the perfect opponent for him.
