Alexander Volkanovski, the Former Featherweight champion in the UFC, has dominated the company’s pound-for-pound rankings for a long time now. However, he is currently on a two-fight losing streak. Alexander Volkanovski lost his last bout to Ilia Topuria via a spectacular second-round knockout. Volkanovski is still one of the best fighters in the featherweight division. His next opponent is yet to be decided.

1. Alexander Volkanovski’s rematch with Ilia Topuria
Given the fact that Volkanoski was the champion in the company, it is only fair that the UFC honors Volk’s request for a rematch with Ilia Topuria so he can get a chance to reclaim the title in the division. The fight was pretty competitive in the first round before Alex got hit with a brutal boxing combination in the octagon. Alex was put to sleep by Topuria in the octagon in the second round of the company.
2. Brian Ortega
Alexander Volkanovski had previously beaten Brian Ortega when he was the champion. The bout between the duo was the fight of the year contender a few years back. Brian Ortega put him in a tight choke, but Volk, being an absolute champion, came out of it. Volkanovski won their last fight. Something tells that if the duo will scrap once more in the octagon, it will be one hell of a bout.
3. Max Holloway
Alexander Volkanovski has beaten Max Holloway thrice in the octagon. Holloway is coming off fresh of a victory against Justin Gaethje in the main card of UFC 301. Volkanovski now has the chance to once again scrap with the striking great, given he now holds the BMF strap, and also, his stock is sky high after his victory inside the octagon at the UFC 300 main card. Alexander Volkanovski has yet to decide on his next opponent.
