The Middleweight division is an exciting spot in the UFC. Since Israel Adesanya was dethroned, there has been chaos at the company’s top. Dricus Du Plessis currently holds the Middleweight crown in the division. One more solid Middleweight matchup will occur between Khamzat Chimaev and Robert Whittaker in Saudi Arabia. On his podcast, Whittaker was spotted giving out a stern warning to the trail-blazing Khamzat Chimaev.
Robert Whittaker won his bout against Paulo Costa in the UFC 299, and Khamzat Chimaev won against Kamaru Usman a few months back.

Robert Whittaker is often stated as one of the most versatile fighters on the Middleweight roster. Whittaker is set to face the undefeated Khamzat Chimaev in the octagon in Saudi Arabia in June. Robert Whittaker is preparing in camp to take on the challenge of Khamzat and had a few words for him on his podcast. Robert said,
I definitely think the goal much like all my other opponents is just to go out there and fight my fight. It’s about going out there and ame playing on to him and seeing how he adjusts to me. I bring an arsenal of skillset that he’s not ready for I believe.
Robert Whittaker made it clear that he is way too versatile for Chimaev to deal with him. His only motive in the fight will be to stick to his game plan and note how Khamzat Chimaev sticks to his game plan. He is too prideful in his skill set as an absolute monster of a fighter in the octagon, so much so that it will be difficult for Khamzat to deal with him.
Khamzat Chimaev has yet to be beaten in his UFC career. He has beaten every opponent inside the octagon. Khamzat is a master of wrestling inside the UFC octagon. It’ll be interesting to see how Whittaker deals with his wrestling pedigree in the octagon throughout the five rounds.

Chimaev is an absolute monster in the ground game, but Robert is sure that Khamzat will have it tough against him. The winner of this fight will likely be the next contender in the Middleweight division of the UFC. It’ll be interesting to see what happens soon in the Middleweight division.
