Jorge Masvidal gives massive props to Max Holloway
Jorge Masvidal, who was recently set to take on the boxing world by fighting UFC veteran Nate Diaz, had thoughts on the newly crowned BMF champion Max Holloway. Max Holloway beat Justin Gaethje in their BMF bout in the final second of the final round after recklessly engaging with Justin Gaethje, throwing hands without caution. Masvidal said,
Whenever that dude points to the ground, whoever the f*ck you are, you become an Olympic track sprinter. Do the opposite. Don’t fuck*ng engage.
Masvidal made it clear that Gaethje should have never gotten into the wild scrap in the final minutes of the final round. Masvidal advised any fighter to run away and keep their distance from Holloway if he invited an individual to get into a scrap with him. Max’s opponents need to take inspiration from Olympic track athletes and escape if Max ever invites a fighter for a scrap in the octagon.
