Daniel Cormier Warns Jon Jones to Avoid ‘Dangerous’ Tom Aspinall for His Own Good
If you asked Dana White who could beat Jon Jones, he’d probably say no one on the planet. However, in a recent YouTube video, Daniel Cormier argued that not fighting the interim champ is actually good for Jones. Cormier, a former rival, pointed out that Aspinall has all the tools to be dangerous, and with fans buzzing, the hype is real. On the flip side, being 37 means age is not on Jones’ side.
He said, “I don’t know if it’s in Jon’s best interest to take this fight. Because this kid is young, this kid is excited, this kid wants everything that he has had and that makes him dangerous.”
Indeed, with all the pressure and hype surrounding Aspinall, it will be interesting to see if Jones finally turns his attention to the British fighter or continues his path toward a fight with Stipe Miocic.
