Joe Rogan recently pointed out that Jon Jones has asked for a $30 million paycheck to fight Tom Aspinall. In addition, he also mentioned that the UFC would be more likely to grant him the wish. Unfortunately, it was later revealed that the news was not true and there was no concrete evidence about the $30 million.
In fact, things went so far that the UFC Head Honcho, Dana White himself, called Rogan and clarified that rumors were fake. Trying to clean up the mess fast, the UFC color commentator immediately addressed the situation.
“I had heard a rumor that Jon Jones wanted $30 million to fight Tom Aspinall. And I did hear that rumor. And I did hear that the UFC said yes… But that’s not true. Dana contacted me and said that rumor is bullsh*t. So I felt obligated to tell everybody that was a fake rumor,” said Rogan.
