The UFC 302 concluded recently, and Islam Makhachev finished Dustin Poirier in the final round and retained the Lightweight title in the UFC. Islam’s greatness in the octagon is quite unfathomable, and popular podcast host and UFC commentator Joe Rogan was spotted discussing Islam’s impact in an exciting conversation he was having with a guest on his podcast, the Joe Rogan Experience.
Joe Rogan Questions Survival of Human Species
The UFC commentator Joe Rogan recently hosted famous comedian Sal Vulcano on his show. Joe, being himself, started talking about how humanity came into existence and the evolution of human species over many years. Rogan couldn’t help but compare humans with wild animals and remarked interestingly about our species. he said,
Even if you’re fit and in shape. Even if you’re an UFC fighter. You’re like Islam Makhachev. To compare to the natural world. Our animal species is b*tch a**. It’s so b*tch a**.
Rogan made it clear that humans might be the weakest living beings among all the organisms in the natural world. Even if you are a fit and muscular human like the pound-for-pound king Islam Makhachev, you’re still not comparable to the wild animal. The comedian seemed to agree with what the 56-year-old podcaster had to say.
Rogan, a big-time animal kingdom fanatic, has often been spotted talking about grizzly bears, tigers, Komodo dragons, and other wild animals. He is convinced that humans have nothing to do with the animals that reside in the jungle without their gadgets. Even the Lightweight champion, Islam, is no match for them.
The martial arts fanatic was cage side when Islam Makhachev finished Dustin Poirier via a tight D’Arce choke in the fifth round of the main event. With a win over Poirier, Islam is now on a winning streak of fourteen wins in the Octagon and is now two wins away from matching the biggest win streak of Anderson Silva. Joe Rogan was spotted singing praises of Makhachev after his bout was over.
