ESPN has removed numerous advertisements for Conor McGregor’s much-awaited comeback at UFC 303. On June 29th, the Notorious One was supposed to take on Michael Chandler.
According to ESPN MMA reporter Ian Parker, several references, promotional images, and videos for the McGregor-Chandler main fight at UFC 303 are no longer available when one visits ESPN+, their UFC channel, or many other ESPN businesses.
This strange ad removal follows a tumultuous and enigmatic 36 hours in the UFC and both fighters’ camps following Monday’s midnight cancellation of the Dublin news conference, which was only 12 hours from its original scheduled date.
Will Conor McGregor vs. Michael Chandler Fight Be Called Off, Or Is It A Marketing Gimmick?
Several well-known MMA social media accounts have shared the information. Additionally, there are reports that McGregor may be hurt. Thus far, no official news has been released by any source.
Michael Bisping and Anthony Smith reacted to the Conor McGregor vs. Michael Chandler UFC 303 Press Conference being canceled at the last minute. If UFC 303 cancels the main fight, Michael Bisping stated at a time stamp of 5 minutes, “It sounds like an injury of some sort.”
Looking at the fighters’ social media accounts, Anthony Smith assumes Michael Chandler is okay as he recently posted his training video on Instagram. Hence, the possibility exists that Conor McGregor might have injured himself once again before appearing for the press conference.
