Hooker hails from the famous MMA camp City Kickboxing in New Zealand. He has been fighting in the UFC’s Lightweight division for quite some time now. Hooker last fought Jalin Turner and won after a three-round slugfest. Hooker recently opened on his title aspirations.

He has been in some absolute wars which will go down as some of the best fights in UFC history. The 34-year-old claimed that he still wants to get to the absolute top. Hooker said,
I just want it, Just that once. I don;t care what happens after that, for the rest of the days. If I could go to sleep with that belt for one night.
Dan Hooker made it clear that he still aspires to be the Lightweight champion of the world when he calls it a career. He wants to go to bed one day as the champion of the UFC. Hooker, who has fought the champion Islam Makhachev, claimed even after certain setbacks, he is not willing to call it a career until he captures the UFC gold.
Dan Hooker is from the same MMA camp as Israel Adesanya. City Kickboxing is known for its fighters being absolute warriors in the middle of the octagon. Hooker is a beast of a striker who has had problems with folks taking him down. Grappling has always been his kryptonite in the octagon. For Hooker to get closer to the belt, he will need to brush up on his Jiu-Jitsu skills in the UFC.
