According to him, he was hit in the ear and heard a “whizzing sound” before feeling a “bullet rip through his skin.” This shocking event has made people very worried about security at political events.
After this heart wrenching incident, Trump was quickly taken off the stage after gunshots were heard and blood was seen on his face. White being a close friend of the former USA president, expressed his concern over the incident. The 54-year-old White, shared his thoughts on Instagram.
“I’m on a plane right now flying to Italy and my phone has been blowing up with text messages from people informing me @realdonaldtrump was shot. I am absolutely SICK to my stomach and in complete shock. I still don’t know how bad it is or if he’s ok. But @mickmaynard2 just sent me this picture and I’m praying President Trump is 100% healthy.”
Meanwhile, the male attacker was shot and killed by a Secret Service agent after attempting to assassinate Trump at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. The attacker killed one spectator and critically injured two others. According to the Secret Service, all three victims are adult males. Authorities have confirmed that the former president is safe. The incident has prompted an investigation into the motives of the attacker. Whilst, not just White the support is coming from all UFC community.
