A former UFC star has raised doubts about Conor McGregor’s situation with the UFC.
The return of Conor McGregor has been one of the most widely discussed topics in the world of MMA. For those unaware, he has fought just three times since 2019 and his last fight was back in 2021 against Dustin Poirier.
After suffering a nasty leg injury during the fight, he was deemed out of action. However, McGregor recovered last year and was pushing for a fight but that did not happen. Moreover, the Irishman made a shocking revelation recently when he claimed that he has already had a couple of training camps but the UFC kept on pushing the date.
Speaking about the same recently, Brendan Schaub raised a number of questions. According to him, it was weird that the UFC has kept McGregor out of action for so long despite him being the promotion’s biggest star. While further suggesting that UFC might be keeping McGregor in an attempt to secure a deal with the UFC. He said:
“I told you guys a long time ago that something is going on there…why you don’t fight your biggest star? I don’t know.”
