It is not secret anymore that Donald Trump is a big fan of combat sports and is often seen at events with his longtime friend and UFC CEO Dana White. Recently, Trump has shown interest in seeing Bo Nickal compete at Madison Square Garden, sparking excitement among fans. With the highly anticipated Jones vs. Miocic card approaching, speculation is growing about whether Trump will make an appearance. When asked, the UFC President remained elusive, neither confirming nor denying the possibility.
At the UFC 309 press conference, the tension in the room was palpable when Bo Nickal was asked about Donald Trump’s interest in attending his fight at Madison Square Garden. Nickal didn’t react to it, but the mere mention of Trump’s name made the whole crowd go bonkers.
Subsequently, when veteran reporter Aaron Bronsteter sat down with White, he asked about the possibility of his friend showing up at the event. White, ever the professional, skillfully dodged the question, keeping everyone guessing and adding even more intrigue to the situation.
He stated, “I mean he always gets a good reception wherever we are, he is a fan so he could pop up at UFC 309 this weekend. You never know.” This reply now left fans wondering if Trump will make a surprise entrance at the iconic event.
What Are Donald Trump’s Thoughts On Bo Nickal For UFC 309?
While all eyes will be on Jon Jones as he defends his heavyweight title for the first time against the legendary Stipe Miocic, Donald Trump has his sights set elsewhere. He’s more excited about Bo Nickal’s fight, instead of the main event. When Trump recently sat down with Joe Rogan on his podcast, he expressed his admiration for Nickal.
He stated, “You know Bo Nickal is a great fighter. When is he fighting again? Oooh, that is going to be interesting after the elections. So, I will either go as President, or I will be depressed and won’t bother coming.” Now that Trump has won the election, it will be interesting to see if he follows through and attends Bo Nickal’s fight.
